The U.S.A. does not lead in gun deaths.

  Given the hype and flack over the school shooting in conneticut, I found this Wikipedia article about where the United States stands as far as gun deaths and surprisingly we have the most guns in private hands but rank 12th in firearm related deaths.

A Case For A Resonable Conspiracy Based On Facts.

  


While surfing the web i realized a startling fact: conspiracy theories are all over the place.Not a new trend especially when were talking about the internet but just the shear amount of sites with hundreds of thousands of visitors.You Tube conspiracy videos aregetting tens of millions of views.I was kind of taken aback.I thought at first maybe this was just a way for people to deal with reality because a plausible conspiracy theory is easier to accept than facing the facts and much more fun to talk about while getting drunk with your friends.
I visited the most infamous of conspiracy destinations InfoWars one of Alex Jones many sites.I have heard many say he's a kook but I know many who whole hardheartedly believe every thing he says.everything from the Illuminati conspiracies to the evil Bohemian Grove to- well pretty much everything on his sites.He often gets interviews on his radio and TV shows featuring celebrities like Billy Corrigan from Smashing Pumpkins and Dave Mustaine of Megadeth.Most notably Alex was the one who put a slightly insane Charlie Sheen on the air and just let him rant.

   I'm not going to bash Alex in any way.He has a right to say anything he wants to he's an American same as the rest of us and there have been times I agreed with him on several issues.But the nagging feeling i get when I read these conspiracy theories is always the same; if this stuff was something the government was trying to conceal would you remain alive and smiling if you knew about it?What about Wiki Leaks (enter at your own risk)?The stuff on the most evil web site in the world (according to many a country) is true.Ask Bradly Manning.He will likely never see daylight again for the rest of his life because he knew and told not to mention uploaded many sensitive documents.Wiki Leaks has been attacked by various governments and banks under pressure from the U.S. and those abroad.Banks and credit card companies have stopped processing donations for Wiki Leaks.Julian Assange is still in danger of deportation to Sweeden in light of sexual assault allegations among other things and another leaker became the next target in the war on Wiki Leaks.At this point I think even going to the site is kind of worrisome for me.never been scared to watch a Conspiracy video on You Tube.

  Confusing times folks and it just gets better.I ran across these stories 12 years ago about the FEMA death camps.....oops did I say death camps?....I mean happy camps!...I mean Internment centers. which really freaked me out till I went back and looked at all the evidence and saw that a lot of these camps were just flat out made up and i guess to get your point across it's okay to lie.There are sites in the U.S. where illegal immigrants could  be held and the GOP is all in. CNN,Fox News,and MSNBC often choose sides,misrepresent facts,paraphrase an awful lot and "color commentary" seems to be the rule of thumb sandwiched in between the entertainment "news".

  The truth is hard to disseminate for the average news reader or viewer.Which is what i believe is the main reason for the popularity that the conspiracy sites garner.I guess the other sites like AP   or Reuters are decent.Project Censored is a great site that brings you stories other news organizations overlooked.There are also hundreds of Indy Media sites out there but as always you have check out the facts for yourself to tell which ones are reliable.
